3.3. The Main KWatch Window

3.3.1. File Menu

File->Reopen files

Closes all log files and opens them again. Useful if some cron job rotated the log files.

File->Quit (Ctrl-Q)

Exits KWatch.

3.3.2. Settings Menu

Settings->Show Menubar

Toggles visibility of the main window menubar on and off. If the menubar is disabled, the most important menu items are still available on the right mouse button menu.

Settings->Configure Key Bindings...

Opens configuration dialog for KWatch key bindings.

Settings->Preferences

Opens KWatch preferences dialog to configure log files to watch, window font and colors, and parameters such as maximum number of lines, buffer size.

3.3.3. Help Menu

Help->Contents (F1)

Displays this help file.

Help->What's This (Shift-F1)

Displays help of menu or dialog item (not yet implemented).

Help->Bug Report...

Open bug report dialog.

Help->About kwatch...

Displays information about KWatch. Displays information about KDE.

Help->About KDE...

Displays information about KDE.

3.3.4. Context Menu

The following menu items are also available on the context menu (right mouse button) in the log display.
