Usage of kwintv

Menu::File

Menu::File::Load

Load a new list of TV channels from a file.
Directory for channel files is ~/.kwintvrc/

Menu::File::Save

 Save a list of TV channels. to a file

Menu::File::Save As

Save a list of TV under a new name.

Menu::File::Import

Import a channel list  file. Known formats are the xtvscreen file format and the xawtv file format (very beta till now ...)

Menu::File::Exit

Well, exit kwintv. The actual channel list and the configuration settings will be saved automatically.

Menu::TeleVision

Menu::TeleVision::Capture on

 Switch capture on and off. In other words, here you can enable/disable the TV image.

Menu::TeleVision::Full Screen

 Switch the size of the TV screen to full size. kwintv will switch to a preselected video resolution. You can select a modeline (see /etc/XF86Config for details) in Menu::Options::General Options::Full Screen

Menu::TeleVision::Full Size

Switch to maximal video format resolution (PAL: 768x576, NTSC: 640x480)
 

Menu::TeleVision::Fix Aspect Ratio

Fixes aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9 (see Menu::Options::General Options::Aspect Ratio)

Menu::TeleVision::Snap Shot

Capture a singel video frame to a file (pic????.pnm or pic????.jpg). You can set the size and format of the captured frame under Menu::Options::General Options::Snap Shot.

Menu::TeleVision::Video Clip

Capture a stream of video frames of selected size and frame rate to a an AVI file or a stream of PMM images or to a stream of RAW data files.

Menu::TeleVision::Channel

Menu::TeleVision::Channel::Show/Hide Box
Show/Hide the box with the actual channel list.
Menu::TeleVision::Channel::Add
Add a new TV channel to actual list from scratch.
Menu::TeleVision::Channel::Edit
Edit the selected TV channel.
Menu::TeleVision::Channel::Cut
Delete the selected TV channel from list.
Menu::TeleVision::Channel::Copy
Menu::TeleVision::Channel::Paste

Menu::TeleVision::Audio

Set audio format to mono or stereo or mute it.

Menu::Options::Hide Toolbar

Hide the Toolbar :-)

Menu::Options::Hide Menubar & Toolbar

Hide the Menubar and the Toolbar. Use the middle mouse button to toggle this, too.

Menu::Options::Hide Mousecursor

Hide the mouse cursor, when over TV image.

Menu::Options::General Options

Set up some general options.

Menu::Options::Key Bindings

Change the key bindings.

Menu::Options::Save Options

Save all options.
